It is science now, Mike, there’s an entire study that’s 25 years old that is positive psychology that it proves beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Your level of happiness is really the result of 3 things.
#1 it’s what we look at, what we imagine, what we see, what we think in our minds. #2 it’s the words that we say to ourselves and to other people. And #3 it’s how we move our bodies something we call physiology.
And Joseph has a technique that can help increase your level of happiness right now.
I call it contrived human nature. And that is the rehearsal of anything; if you repeat anything it’s going to become natural. But I’m going to show you how to super charge it. And one of the things you can do, for example, is to use your cell phone and just set it for every hour or every 2 hours. And when that thing goes off seek it – and that means look for what makes you happy. And #2 look for what makes you grateful. #3 just stand up and put a smile on your face and take a deep breath. Just doing that within just a couple of days you’ll be amazed at the undercurrent and how you approach things and how you look at things – the optimism that you have. |
