Mike
Carruthers:
The next time you're stressed out think about this…
Jon Gordon:
It's physiologically impossible to be stressed and thankful at
the same time it's the way our brains are wired.
Jon Gordon, author
of, The
10 Minute Energy Solution…
You're in traffic
you go into work, you're late for work you're really upset,
and you're in a bad mood. What can you do to turn it around?
Well one you can be grateful that you're driving, you can be
grateful that you have a car. You can be grateful that you actually
have a job to go to while so many others are negative and down.
And just by that simple shift in your thoughts that will make
you feel good and when you start to feel good you will shift
your entire day.
We can all be
happier and more positive says Jon if we'll put in a little
effort.
Our perception
does determine our reality. In quantum physics it's actually
now a real live fact that your perception determines your reality.
It's called the observer effect. For instance you buy a car
you start seeing that car everywhere on the road, where you
put your attention is what you start to see in your life.
So, if you put
your attention on being more positive and happy it's more likely
to happen. And Jon has another tip to help you gain more energy
and lose the stress. And all it is, is…
Ten minutes of
silence and when people do that they're amazed at how these
ten minutes of no stimuli, no computers, they're really amazed
at how they feel after those ten minutes. Silence is where potential
energy sits and waits.
