Improve Your I.Q. & Mental Ability Immediately II
Interview
with Dr. Frank Lawlis, author of The
I.Q. Answer
|
Mike
Carruthers:
Want
to be smarter for the whole day? Then choose your breakfast carefully.
Dr. Frank Lawlis:
If you consume protein in the morning, it ups your I.Q.
significantly - more importantly if you eat sugar in the morning
it lowers it, sugar is kind of like the major foe of I.Q.
Psychologist
Dr. Frank Lawlis, author of the book The
I.Q. Answer, is also the Chief Content Advisor for the Dr.
Phil Television Show…
You should have
had at least 50% protein in the morning so it will create kind
of stabilization for the rest of the day.
So instead of
having something sweet for breakfast Dr. Lawlis says, have eggs
and you'll be smarter.
That's exactly
what's been researched for is eggs - I'm a big fan of eggs.
If you eat two eggs, one or two eggs in the morning (at least
for college students - it's been studied) is that you'll make
at least 10%, probably 20% higher on any test that you take.
Dr. Lawlis also
believes that your self-talk controls so much of your brainpower
and potential. So, his advice…
Un-limit yourself,
the internal dialogue that we tell ourselves every day is the
most destructive that we have. Because if we say, "We're
idiots, we're stupid" - that creates a whole brain lock
that is just very difficult to overcome.
