Hot Toys
Interview
with Nicole Patzer from "Toys R Us" and

Mike Carruthers:
Since you’re running out of time to get your holiday gifts this
year, here’s some help in the toy department. You can’t go wrong
with Elmo. Nicole
Patzer:
Last year we had Hokey Pokey Elmo, and this year we have E-L-M-O.
So, if you haven’t seen him, he does, like the YMCA, he does
(sung) E - L - M - O.
Toy expert
Nicole Patzer from “Toys R Us” says, for older kids, “plug and
play” games are very popular.
And they
actually, some are very classic - where they’ll have Pac-Man,
and, basically, it’s just a joy stick. And, you plug it right
into your TV, and you can just start playing the old Pac-Man
arcade games.
But,
we also have some updated ones. I mean, we have Sponge Bob.
And, also on that classic content, we have an update of the
game Operation. We have “Operation Shrek,” and what’s cool about
him is, he has things instead of just, you know, the hip bone
and the elbow. He has earwax and onion breath that you have
to get out. So, he’s really fun.
Some classic toys are popular this Christmas
and every Christmas.
What’s
back this year is Cabbage Patch Kids, Rainbow Bright... You
know, Barbie is always popular. This year’s Princess and the
Pauper. Like we said, we have an updated Operation. There is
updated Twister, Strawberry Shortcake... You know the classics
are still very popular.
Toys R Us
