Interview with Laura Schroff, author of the book Angels On Earth

It’s human nature to want to try and help others but sometimes it’s hard to know where to begin.

By sharing an act of kindness, you don’t have to change the world, but if you take the time and look at your own surroundings sometimes you’ll receive the most beautiful blessings in return.

Research shows that when you give kindness it’s contagious and the more you do it the more you really want to do it and it almosts becomes part of your DNA. That when you do share kindness it makes you feel good so therefore it makes you want to do it again.
And even small acts of kindness can have a huge impact. Laura tells the story of a woman who noticed a young mother and children in a grocery story.
And the young boy was holding a calculator and as they were picking up items he would put into the calculator the dollar amount. And the item would either go back on the shelf or go into the basket. And it brought her back to when she was a single mom and she was struggling. And thought you know I can make a difference. And so she went up and bought a gift card and she gave it to this family. I’m sure that family will never forget it because in many ways it was life changing But it doesn’t matter what you do we are all capable of making a difference.
